I usually don't write reviews. But felt like I needed to this time! Right down the street from my work. First time coming here, and I'm amazed I have not heard of this place before! The staff was friendly and the food was really really good. Since COVID, this is probably the first good meal I've had in a very long time. It did not disappoint. I didn't have to flavor my food it was legit GOOD. Veggies were fresh, the beef was not over cooked or undercooked it was perfect. I seriously will add this place to my lunch rotation. Thank you!!!!

Delicious and inventive food. Healthy options. It's simple, but made right there. Slurp Saturdays have a special rotating homemade soup. It's a special place. The name is weird. Ignore it. There is a reason they have been around for awhile, and are getting proper recognition.

I get the teriyaki salmon and it is perfect every time. I have never been to a restaurant that is so consistently good.

You can't go wrong with made to order food. Always fresh. You may wait. But it's worth it Teriyaki Bowl with double the meat is filling...add extra chimichura and you are good to go.

Great local Asian-fusion spot. Get the buggogi beef. They do close mid afternoon and have slightly odd hours of business so double check before you make a trip.

Will come back! Cute spot for lunch or dinner. We were called to jury service down the street so we decided to pop over for our lunch break. I got the bulgogi bowl which came with this kimchi hot sauce. Really good! Reminded me of a bibimbap which I love. My fiance got the chicken and bulgogi combo bento. The salad dressing was delicious. The gyoza was okay. Bulgogi was definitely better than the chicken teriyaki, but that's just because bulgogi has such a rich flavor. Our food took about 30 min to come out. So if you're in a rush, probably call in or a pick up or take out. We were fine with the wait because we weren't in a rush and happy to see our food was freshly made. I saw some reviews about the wait. But if you really think about it. Don't you want your food freshly made? Definitely would recommend this place!

Love this place. I get it for lunch like 4-5 times a month. Always very good and very healthy too. The salmon bowl/bento/salad dishes are all super good. The chicken teriyaki is very good, even their more American dishes like that steak sandwich are also a solid choice, bonus points cause the fries are good too. My first time at Teriyaki Grill was thanks to my wife's wonderful recommendation--she's been here before and suggested we try it out today. There are so many great options on the menu! My wife ordered her usual salmon bowl, and my kids chose meals from the kids' menu. I went for the Bulgogi and Chicken Combo bento, and it was made to perfection--so delicious and on point! The salmon my wife ordered was perfect too. One of my kids had steak, and the other had salmon, both paired with some bomb potstickers and veggies. If you're looking for healthy options, this is your spot! I'm definitely coming back. The price was great for a family of four, and I'm happy to find another fantastic spot on 3rd Avenue in Chula Vista!

Ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl and the chicken wasn't even close to charred. It barely had any flavor. Usually this spot is really good and consistent. After this experience, I wouldn't get the chicken again. The steak is always good. The inside has a nice atmosphere. The customer service is friendly.
